European DIRECTIVE 2003/ 10/EC
The above regulations require employers to provide suitable ear protection to employees that are working in noise level between 80dB and 85dB ib request. If noise levels rie above this then ear protection must be worn.
Care must be taken not to over protect as this can also be hazardous in the work place.
